When you create an account, we collect the email address you sign up with and a password (stored as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google but no other account data.
As you use RoofRank, we store the deals you save, watchlist items, reports you generate, and any notes or scenario adjustments you make. We also log basic usage events (which pages you visit, which deals you view) to understand product performance.
Only the service providers that make RoofRank work, each operating under their own privacy policies:
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't run ads on RoofRank.
RoofRank uses minimal cookies — primarily a session token to keep you logged in, and a CSRF token on form submissions. We use localStorage to cache your watchlist and chat history client-side so the app loads fast.
If we add product analytics (e.g., PostHog) before launch, we'll update this section before turning it on.
You can delete your account at any time from settings — this removes your saved deals, notes, and account record. Email privacy@roofrank.io if you want to export your data or have questions.
RoofRank is for adults evaluating real estate investments. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If we change anything material, we'll notify you by email before the change takes effect.
